Dennis Dwyer

Dennis writes from the Seattle Metro area of the Pacific Northwest. He has written both fiction and non-fiction, the latter in his professional capacity as a certified alternative mental health practitioner and as a long time technical writer. Lonely are the Heroes is his debut fiction publication, the first in a series of six short novels featuring the noir detective Matusek. He holds a ninth degree black belt in Martial Arts and was inducted into the Action Magazine Hall of Fame.

About his fiction, he says, “When I was a child, I loved to draw and create art that would make people smile and want to do things in their imagination and then, perhaps, also in their lives. Then I discovered words and, in my writings, I loved to awaken, entertain, and inspire others in their chosen pursuits.”
